Challenges & solutions

Installation and O&M of distributed generation

Reduce the costs and speed up the installation and O&M of solar distributed generation. Examples: robots & automation, digital twins, and predictive maintenance.

Distributed generation for B2B clients

Address unmet market needs with new renewables products and business models, beyond traditional approaches.
Examples: lightweight solar, vertical / bifacial solar, and micro wind.

Electrification of industrial heat & air

Increase energy efficiency and lower the carbon footprint of industrial clients, through the electrification and/or storage of industrial heat. Examples: thermal storage, heat pumps, and electric steam.

Decarbonization for B2C clients

Decarbonization of residential and SME clients through the development of energy management and efficiency solutions. Examples: smart equipment, energy management, home efficiency, and energy communities

Energy storage and flexibility

Improve storage competitiveness and optimize system integration and management. Examples: alternative technologies to lithium, battery management systems, LDES, and solutions to enable market participation.

Integrated solutions with mobility

Develop integrated mobility and distributed generation products through innovative technologies and businesses. Examples: smart charging, bidirectional charging (V2X), and aggregation services (VPP).
